Anise seeds have been used for a long time to make pastries, breads and liqueurs both for their digestive properties and their unmistakable flavour.<\/p>

The flavour of anise seeds is very sweet, mild, similar to licorice, and its flavour stays in the mouth.<\/p>

It is used in confectionery and in distilling, but also to give flavour to juices or add, in infusions and liqueurs, a characteristic aroma to torrijas, pesti\u00f1os or sweet potato soup.<\/p>

Use it to add flavour to syrups, fritters and fruit, bread dough, doughnuts and caramel sweets and cakes. The flavour it gives to fishes like salmon will surprise you. Discover the distinctive touch it gives to shellfish.<\/p>

It combines perfectly with any sugary preparation, dried or fresh nuts, mint, cinnamon and raisins.<\/p>
