Curry

Curry is a delicious seasoning from India and Pakistan, consisting of a powdered mix of several spices that vary according to each recipe. Carmencita offers a classic mixture made with eleven select spices: turmeric, pepper, mustard, mace, coriander, ginger, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, cayenne chilli pepper and anise.

You can use Carmencita curry to give flavour to almost any dish: chicken, fish, vegetables, rice, stews like lentil stews, or mix it with oil, dairy products like butter or cream, coconut milk or in sauces.

It has to be added when the vegetable and pulse soup or rice is already boiling, so that it dissolves well and flavours everything equally.

The name curry comes from the south of India, and is used to describe any dish accompanied by rice.

With white rice that is steamed and later sautéed, it is a dish that needs no entrées.

Tip for getting the most out of curry:

Its flavour tends to stand out, so it is best to avoid using too much.
