New York has once again become the place where ideas put on heels and step out without inhibition. In her latest show in the city of skyscrapers, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada celebrated diversity and cultural fusion with a collection that paid tribute to what connects Hispanic cultures: Spain and Latin America, united by shared heritage. Within that narrative, Carmencita was present with one of our most recognisable creations: the Ágatha Duo Pack, accompanying the designer at this landmark event.
This runway spoke the language we know best: shared flavours, aromas, landscapes and textures. A collective imagination shaped by a generous, creative heritage deeply rooted in craftsmanship and colour. The kind of space where design stops being decoration and becomes a way of expressing who we are.
The art direction created a sensory universe where fashion was not only seen, but felt. The show transported the audience to desert landscapes, where Ágatha’s designs appeared to float among cacti and kites, generating a poetic, almost dreamlike atmosphere. Sound played a defining role in that journey, blending Spanish folklore with Latin rhythms to create an emotional pulse that carried the entire production and reinforced the idea of a shared cultural identity.
The result was an urban, sensual and contemporary proposal in which the house’s most iconic codes — bold colours, quilted textures, polka dots and hearts — were reinterpreted through a modern lens. A celebration of cultural fusion, emotion and creativity without borders.
At Carmencita, we see the kitchen as an everyday space, but also as a place of identity. That is why this collaboration felt so natural. The Ágatha Duo Pack is not a “pretty product” destined to remain on a shelf. It was designed to be used, to be part of the daily cooking ritual, bringing a touch of colour and personality to life at home.
The pack brings together two kitchen essentials in grinder format, presented in the unmistakable aesthetic of Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada — a direct nod to those who appreciate design, but also to those who understand that flavour is part of the overall experience.
The runway project brought together a diverse network of brands and institutions, including Puig, Optim Vision, My Pug & Co, Chocolates Marcos Tonda, Karambake, Bodegas Borsao, Rolser, Saica, Xyon Revolution, Elisava School and Sonopro Academy, alongside Carmencita. Together, they shaped a collective proposal in which every detail reinforced the central idea: celebrating what unites us through creativity.
With this presence in New York, we have reaffirmed a belief that has always guided us: flavour is culture, and culture can also be told through everyday objects. Our Ágatha Duo Pack took to the runway in the Big Apple as a symbol of that blend — and as a metaphor for our global culture: a culture of flavour that is lived and understood in every corner of the world. Including New York.
