Rosemary

Our traditional Mediterranean rosemary belongs to the same family as thyme, sage and basil. Although having a somewhat pungent, resinous and bitter taste, its melliferous blue-violet flowers also reveal the sweet perfumes this aromatic plant has.

Rosemary hardly loses aroma when it is dried, and is a part of Provençal herbs.

All your dishes can be enhanced with this plant. It is perfect for stews of strongly flavoured meats and fish, vegetables, potatoes, wine-based sauces and pastas. It is also used for paella, in roast chicken, breads and soups.

Flavour your desserts like custards, ice creams, creams, marmalades and jellies with it. Don’t hesitate to use it with chocolate cream and dark chocolate. Use some pieces to adorn your dishes with a country touch. Or you can even macerate it in oil or red wine!
