Carmencita has strengthened its compromise wit the education and develop of future chefs with a special collaboration with Canary Islands School Hotels (HECANSA), a benchmark in dual formation in hotel business and tourism in the Canary Islands. This collaboration has allowed the students of the last course of the Gastronomy and Cuisine degrees to receive specialised formation in the used of spices in gastronomy.
The formation, which was held in Tenerife and Gran Canaria, was taught by the Carmencita´s R+D team, formed by Aaron Carbonell, Alejandra Martínez and Paco López. Moreover, Juan Alberto García, Head of the Canary Islands area, was also present, highlighting the importance of this initiative for the company and the region. A total of 150 students from both modalities, General and Intensive, assisted to the sessions, designed to upgrade their culinary knowledge.
Through this formation, Carmencita has not only shared its experience in the use of spices as a fundamental ingredient in cuisine, but it has also given the students practical tools to transform their dishes with new textures, colours, and flavours. This collaboration highlights Carmencita’s commitment with excellence in cuisine and with the formation of new talents in a sector in continuous evolution.
With initiatives like this one, Carmencita keeps making a difference in the educative and culinary field, supporting future professionals so they contribute to the development of both Spanish and international cuisine.
