The Carmencita paprika tin, developed by ITC Packaging, has been recognized as one of the best both nationally and internationally in the packaging sector.

In October 2024, it received the LiderPack Award for the best food packaging, a national prize recognising excellence in design and utility. The Liderpack awards are the most important prizes awarded in Spain in the fields of packaging and point-of-sale displays, specifically rewarding sustainability and innovative product design, aimed at enhancing the consumer experience.

Just a few months later, in January 2025, the tin has once again been recognized in the World Star Packaging Awards, considered the highest world-wide recognition in the packaging sector, in the food packaging category.

The award-winning design stands out for being a practical and innovative solution: a double-sided flip lid with a hinge that allows for two modes of use, either for scooping out the spices with a spoon or sprinkling them directly. In addition, it is airtight thanks to its heat-sealable bond and an IML label that acts as a barrier against UV rays, helping to preserve the properties and aroma of the spices.

Both awards confirm the commitment of Carmencita and ITC Packaging to innovation, respect for the environment, and excellence in every detail. This packaging is presented as a reflection of the company’s philosophy: to care for every aspect of the product to ensure the highest quality.
