This month of September has been intense and exciting for Carmencita, consolidating our presence in important gastronomic events and reassuring our compromise with the international expansion.
Every September 20th the international paella day is celebrated. This same day, the city of Valencia holds the World Paella Day Cup 2024,which celebrated its 20th anniversary. This renowned contest determinates the best paella in the world made by an international chef. Last Friday, after a day filled with culinary talent, 12 chefs from around the world, competed to win the renowned trophy to the best paella in the world. This year the winner was Joe W. Padilla Castro, from Puerto Rico, who presented the winning proposal.
As in previous editions, Carmencita participated again as a collaborator of the event, committing itself once more in offering the best flavour and colour to paellas on a worldwide level.
What’s more, at the beginning of the month, Carmencita’s spices travelled to Norway, along with María Luisa Rivera, essential gastronomic figure of Alicante’s and Spain’s cuisine, who is not only a renowned chef, but María Luisa is also a member of Women in Gastronomy (MEG) and vice president of the Restaurants Association of Alicante (ARA).
Right now, Carmencita is present in more than 70 countries of the world,which represent a 28% of the total sales of the brand. Its international expansión has been key to consolidate itself as one of the most renowned brands of the spices and seasonings area. Since its launch, the Paellero has been its star product, making it a, essential referent for those who want to prepare authentic paellas anywhere in the world.
With the participation and implication of the brand in these events, Carmencita keeps positioning as a reference brand in the sector, as well as it contributes once more to the diffusion of the Spanish gastronomic heritage around the world.
