Carmencita’s R&D&i Department is especially concerned with health as a key part of diet and cuisine. This means that Carmencita’s products are constantly evolving, anticipating even the demands and needs of society, and, as proof of that, we received the FACE Prize in 2019 from the Spanish Federation of Associations for Celiacs (FACE).
From the moment we choose high-quality raw materials until you enjoy our products at home, those products are subjected to rigorous quality control. Our Quality Control Department is specialised in the physico-chemical, microbiological and organoleptic analyses that guarantee the quality of the final product that you will have in your hands.
Soon, Carmencita will open a new factory that will make us one of the largest and most modern manufacturers of spices in Europe. A place from which we will be able to continue working with the same enthusiasm, but with greater strength for customers like you who trust our brand every day.

Carmencita is committed to its neighbours in Novelda, where its factory is, committed to Alicante, committed to society in general. Fully committed to its employees as well as to sustainability and the environment. To the quality and excellence of the products it produces.
Carmencita’s solidarity
At Carmencita, we have joined Alicante Gastronómica Solidaria. An initiative that will prepare more than 400 meals each day to be delivered to the most disadvantaged people in the province.
We have donated our products so that regional chefs at the Alicante Tourist Centre (Centro de Turismo, CdT, de Alicante) can cook the meals that are distributed in our area thanks to the work of coordination and distribution by Cáritas Alicante and the Red Cross.

Carmencita forms part of the institutional chairs of the University of Alicante and began its work in November 2017. The main goal of the Chair is to develop research activities, teach, and train in the culinary sphere, and in particular those related to the world of flavours and the culinary wealth of Mediterranean food culture.
