Well, it is. It’s one of the vegetables found on the list of superfoods. And we have the best way to prepare it: steamed to maintain all its properties, later seasoned with spices and finally baked with a touch of parmesan.

Ingredients

1 broccoli
100 g Parmesan
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Carmencita Vegetable seasoning grinder
1 teaspoon Carmencita sweet & smoked paprika

Preparation

  1. Cut the broccoli into florets.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180⁰C.
  3. Add 4 fingers of water to a pot and bring to a boil.
  4. Place the broccoli in a steamer and cook it for 5 minutes until it’s tender.

5. Place on a baking sheet with paper towels and crush the broccoli with a glass.
6. Add the vegetable seasoning, the sweet smoked paprika and the extra virgin olive oil.
7. Sprinkle the parmesan on top of the broccoli.
8. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180⁰C until the cheese is golden.
