At Carmencita, we love hummus.

As a result of its light, creamy texture, it touches of citrus and spices, and, in our version, for its spicy touch, this chickpea paste is in fashion.

1 jar cooked chickpeas
1 garlic
1 tablespoon tahini
1 lime
1/2 glass extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon Carmencita Ground cumin
1/2 tablespoon Carmencita Hot paprika
Carmencita Mediterranean sea salt
1 glass of water
Carmencita Sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. Drain the cooked chickpeas and clean them with water.
  2. Add, in a mixing glass, all the ingredients except the sesame.
  3. Blend until you get a creamy texture.
  4. Garnish with sesame and a pinch of paprika.
