1 clove garlic
3 onions
50 g butter
Carmencita Mediterranean Sea salt
Carmencita Black pepper
1 Carmencita Bay leaf
1 teaspoon Carmencita Thyme
1 teaspoon of Chicken seasoning
1 tablespoon of flour
25 ml cognac
1 L of chicken broth

Preparation

  1. Chop the garlic and onion, melt the butter and sauté the vegetables.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, bay leaf, chicken seasoning, thyme and cook for 25 minutes over low heat.
  3. Add a tablespoon of flour and cook a little.
  4. Add the cognac and bring to a boil until it evaporates, once the alcohol evaporates add the chicken broth and cook for another 15 minutes.
  5. Toast the bread in the oven and assemble the soup with the bread and cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.>
