Typical greek appetizer,made with filo dough sheets, with a delicious butter taste and a filling made with feta cheese, cottage cheese and spinaches. A delightful combination seasoned with dill leaves and vegetable grinder.

Ingredients

150 g of butter
1 spring onion
Carmencita Giant Vegetable Grinder
300 g of spinaches
200 g cottage cheese
200 g feta cheese
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of Carmencita Dill Leaves
1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
10 filo dough sheets

Preparation

  1. Sauté the spring onions with a bit of salt and add the spinaches.
  2. Strain the sauté to get rid of the water.
  3. Mix the feta and the cottage cheese and add the rest of the ingredients to the filling.
  4. Cover the base of the mould with the breadcrumbs.
  5. Overlay 5 sheets of filo dough painted with molten butter.
  6. Add the spinach filling and cover it with other 5 filo dough sheets painted with molten butter.
  7. Bake it in the oven at 180ºC for 40 minutes.
